The Tarrytown Music Hall is heading out of the theater and onto Main Street for the inaugural Tarrytown Community Block Party! We are looking for high-energy, friendly volunteers to help us connect with our neighbors, share the magic of the Music Hall, and manage a fun creative station for local families.
The Role
As a volunteer at our Main Street table, you’ll be the "face" of the Music Hall. Your time will be split between two main activities:
Kids’ Craft Station: Help little ones with a simple, fun craft project (all supplies provided!). You’ll keep the table organized and ensure everyone has a great time creating.
Community Outreach: Engage with residents and visitors, answering basic questions about our upcoming shows, membership, and the history of our beautiful theater.
Event Details
Location: Main Street, right in front of the theater (Outdoor Street Fair)
Shifts Available: * Set-up & Morning Shift: 11-2 (ish)
Afternoon & Breakdown: 2-4:30ish
Who You Are
A People Person: You enjoy chatting with strangers.
Patient & Helpful: You’re comfortable working with children and helping them navigate a craft project.
Reliable: You can show up on time and stay for your full shift.
Tarrytown Fan: You’re excited about local community events and want to help make this block party a success!
Timing is flexible and there is space for several volunteers. Please sign up for the WAITLIST if you are interested and I will be in touch to confirm. Thank you, Amissa. Any questions, feel free to call or text me: 917.686.1491
